Understanding recipe finding

To inform the design of our recipe finding website we first looked to understand the recipe finding process. We utlilized a variety of design research methods:

• Directed Storytelling - to examine the thought process during recipe finding
• Competitive Analysis - to identify features available in current recipe finding websites
• Bricks and Mortar Observation - to understand recipe finding process in the physical space

In order to understand the mood and emotion driving the site design, we also created a mood board.
